Rolling out a new Personal Logo
Because a Personal Brand deserves it
I have been using graphic design for almost as long as I have memory. One of the things I enjoy is logo design. I did a few for customers, others for personal projects, but the ones I enjoyed the most were my personal logos.
This all started since my father (R.I.P.) — a civil engineer — designed my very first personal logo which I used throughout school and university.
On July 2021 I completed a certificate course on Personal Branding from the University of Virginia. I figured it was time to also include an update to my personal logo, of which there have been several.
My Old Logo
This logo’s primary colors are from the flags of the two countries that have been very significant in my life. It stands out anywhere.
New Logo
Yesterday I deployed a newly-designed personal logo, this time in circular form which fits better on my Medium profile as well as other meta-profiles.
Again, the colors of those two countries are part of the chosen palette. Since the Personal Branding course called for a mission statement as well as identifying strengths, I chose to include four virtues as well.
My question to you my readers is, which of the two logos you find more appealing and why?
